I am a philosopher at the University of Konstanz, trying to understand how Artificial Intelligence changes our lives and how we can make friends with it. When I do not think or write, I enjoy hiking in the mountains and filling my balcony with as many plants as I can fit in there.

Being part of an internationally recognised event like TEDx whilst being a student in Germany is an exciting opportunity to broaden your network and build new skills. But more importantly, it will challenge your view of the world and yourself.

I am a PhD student at the department of Collective Behaviour at the Max Planck institute of Animal Behaviour. I love living in Konstanz for outdoor activities in particular for lake water sports. When the german weather doesn’t allow water activities, I also really enjoy different arts including painting, carving, drawing, music, and learning something very exciting that I don’t yet know about.

Full-time business and tourism management student and part-time designer currently building my portfolio. I am passionate about linguistics and the creative side of marketing and am excited to pursue a career in this field. When I'm not watching the latest series, you can catch me café-hopping while wasting money on overpriced coffee and bubble tea, wandering bookstores for hours, and visiting art exhibits!

I'm studying industrial engineering at the HTWG in Konstanz. I'm participating to TEDxKonstanz because I think the idea of inviting speakers who push the limits of one's own thinking and possibly expand is super cool! I have been watching TED videos for a long time and when I heard about an event in Konstanz I wanted to be part of it! My areas of interest are super broad and I'm looking forward to finding such a breadth among the topics of the speakers as well.

My name is Minouk and I live near Konstanz since the beginning of 2021. After I finished my bachelor’s degree in hotel and event management, I decided to move to Germany. In my free time, I like to explore the region Bodensee, bake some new recipes, go to the movies or spend time with my friends. I love to organize events and be a part of a team that brings people together, inspires each other and creates unique experiences.

I am a Computer Science student at the HTWG in Konstanz and I am really happy to be part of this amazing group. In my free time I am always interested in sports, good conversations, spontaneous experiences and the many facets that life shows you. I have always been a curious person and I look forward to everything that is yet to come!

I just started my Master in Politics and Public Administration here in Konstanz. After all these months of living online, I'm excited to be a part of organising a real live TEDx event! It feels good to contribute to the social and cultural life of my new hometown. As we're preparing, I'm already learning many new things and I'm looking forward further broadening my horizon.

I am MA student in Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz and Charles University, Prague. In my free time, I like travelling, taking pictures, writing poems and knitting. I am always looking for new experiences, and I believe joining TEDx will also give me some extra skills that might be useful in the future. And the team is amazing, I really like the people I'm working with!

I’m Manuel and Constance is my home town. I’m studying at the HTWG in the field of engineering and management. Currently I’m writing my master thesis. In my free time you can find me either in the mountains or doing sports like running or playing tennis. Always up for a good coffee or Käsespätzle. I like reading books and watching good documentaries, especially when David Attenborough is talking about the world or Neil deGrasse Tyson explains the space.

I am 23 years old, I am from Rome and I am studying politics and public administration at the University of Konstanz. In my free time I like skateboarding, cooking and reading. I was looking for a way to give back to the local community, and when I discovered this opportunity I was sure that this would have been the best way to do it.
